new solo cd . . .

In the first couple of weeks of April, Blake will be recording a song demo cd. These will be available at gigs or puchase through email correspondence. Selections will also be posted at www.myspace.com/pblakemartin.

new horizons . . .

In addition to the projects listed below, I'm involved with a smooth jazz/funk band that is very exciting. Musicians include Jamie Estes on bass, Brad Barnum on rhythm guitar, Sam Shackelford on percussion and Julie Gilliland on keyboard. Roadmap is a classy, low volume - high impact group. We will soon be available for parties and engagements. We offer arrangements with/without vocals. Very smooth!

solo engagements

Blake has developed a repertoire of over 100 instrumental arrangements and acoustic folk and blues for entertainment from clubs and restaurants to private parties. Often, some of the area's finest muscians will show up to offer their talents to the mix.

acoustic combo

Shallow Deep features Blake and one or more hand drummers and various guitarists to play arrangements of rock, world music, modern gospel and blues arrangements.

fusion

Off the Hook is a band including bassist Mike Reeder and drummer Joey Everett. Like it loud and driving?  . . .  look no further.

in the studio

One of the area's finest jazz musicians, Michael Francis, has invited me to play some tres guitar on a new album he's producing in his studio in Hondo Valley.

Blake’s first solo guitar cd, Poisonous Stew, is currently in production in association with jazz pianist Michael Francis. Shallow Deep is also finishing up on a couple of recordings funded by the Foot of the Cross Ministries www.thefootofthecross.org where Blake leads praise and worship Sundays at !0:30.
