All my life I’ve played guitar, and playing with the ambience of a room has always been my favorite. I’ve also spent a good deal of my life performing in alternative rock bands and singing country/folk standards from the ‘70s. I enjoy playing classical, modern and american primitive styles when appropriate. Songwriter-singers such as Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Jeff Walker, J. J. Cale, Townes Van Zandt, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, John Hartford, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson have long been an inspiration to my career.

Every week, I'm adding new material to my songlist. Because I play so many different kinds of venues, my songlist includes many genres of music. The variety of material I have to choose from lends itself to blending into the background, or cranking it up and jamming.

Today, I'm performing and recording standards, instrumental compositions and original songs. I normally perform solo using acoustic fingerstyle picking and percussion strumming styles, but I can also line up venues with friends in acoustic or electric bands (see current projects). From ambient and blues to rock and modern gospel; it's all music and it's what I love to do.
